WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP MY LOVED ONE WHO HAS IT?

Remember , the best thing you can do for a parent or loved one who had FMS or CFS is to be patient with them and loving. Be helpful , asking them if you can do more for them instead of always asking them to always do for you. People who have these illness' already feel bad enough because they cannot do the things they used to , and they cannot help out as much as they would like to. It is hard for them to make promises because they never know if when the promise is due , if they are going to even feel well enough to do what they said they would. People who have FMS and CFS hold a lot of saddness in their hearts about these issues and you need to be patient with them and show them how much you cars and understand them. The best way to help someone who is sick , is to love them reguardless of what they can give or do for you. You must always know that they never asked to feel this way or even wanted to feel this way. Your loved ones love you very much and want the best for you. Show them you understand the way they feel about you by being understanding and caring about their feelings.

Be sure to take care of yourself and take care of your own responsibilities. Make sure you let them know they are loved daily and involve them and invite them to participate in activities. Be understanding if they cannot do the things you want them to. Just because they can't , doesn't mean they don't want to.Make sure to always talk things out , good or bad , and make sure to ask them how they are feeling and help cheer them up by being a listening ear. mAKE FRIENDS AND HAVE YOUR OWN LIFE , ALWAYS KEEPING AN OPEN DOOR FOR YOUR LOVED ONE. MAKE SURE TO LIVE ON AND NOT BE DRAGGED DOWN BY THE ILLNESS. IT WOULD MAKE YOUR LOVED ONE FEEL AWEFUL KNOWING THAT THIS ILLNESS HAD MADE YOU FEEL BAD ALONG THE WAY. BE A COMFORT BY TAKING CARE OF THINGS AS THEY SHOULD BE AND DON'T LET THE BURDENS OF THE MINOR THINGS BECOME A STRESSFUL SITUATION FOR THEM. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND EACH OTHER.
