The internet has become a great resource for anyone, whether they deal with a chronic illness or not. You can find information on any topic you can name somewhere in cyberspace, but the reliability of that information depends on the source. I will try to focus on Canadian information, but I will also include links from other countries that I have found helpful.

Fibrohugs Reciprocal Banner Link


- Fibrohugs is an excellent source of information and support. They have posted the "Letter to Normals", as well as the "Letter to Fibromites", both excellent pieces to help you and your caregiver cope with your illness. They also have a chart of the tender points and a list of 63 symptoms/illnesses commonly associated with fibromyalgia, message board for discussing topics relative to living with fibro, a chat room, and an excellent web resources page.


FM-CFS Canada
- Fibromyalgia-Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Canada is a good source of information, as well as having a patient registry for research and study purposes, a link to the weekly pain chart that I use to chart my activities and pain responses, links to local support groups, educational resources, and hospital programs, to name a few items.

IDACAN
- The Invisible Disabilities Association of Canada site is an excellent resource for information on living with environmental illness, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and other invisible illnesses, as well as applying for Canada Pension Disability.

Devin's Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Site
- Fibromyalgia and Chronic Myofascial Pain with Devin Starlanyl is an excellent site, written by a former ER physician who deals with fibro and chronic fatigue herself

Bombo provides education and support for adhesion sufferers around the world by way of personal stories, a message board, and a chat room, as well as promoting awareness and recognition of adhesions world-wide.

International Pelvic Pain Society - The International Pelvic Pain Society provides information and resources for women suffering from pelvic pain and medical professionals as well.
